• 1. Who can’t have a laser treatment done?

    Patients with grey hair/fair hair

    Newly pregnant

    Patients with epilepsy

    Patients on chemotherapy

    Patients on acne medication (treatment can begin after being off the medication for 6 months)


  • 2. Can I do a laser treatment while being pregnant?

    Laser cannot do any harm, since the laser only penetrates through the skin to the depth of hair, however it is preferred to not do laser treatments on pregnant women. 

  • 3. Are laser treatments painful?

    Every patient has a different pain tolerance. The first treatment is often more uncomfortable because that is when you have the most amount of hair. Applying an anesthetic cream before your treatment and wrapping the area with cling wrap should help with the pain. Cooling gel and cool area is used to keep the skin cool making the treatment more confortable. 

  • 4. How many treatments does electrolysis require?

    Every treatment will vary differently from every patient. The amount of treatments will be evaluated by these factors:

    •Medications

    •Stress Level

    •Quantity and structure of hair

    •Hormones

    •Hair growth cycle


    A treatment session can last from 15 minutes to more than 1 hour. The size of the area will vary time. 


  • 5. How long is the chemical peel treatment process?

    Treatment time varies depending on the type of treatment you are receiving and on the size of the area that will be treated. After assessing your skin, your doctor will be able to give you a detailed answer of how long your treatment will occur.

    There are several different types of peels to choose from, which is why an assessment will be done by your doctor when meeting with them. After assessing your skin your doctor will help choose the right chemical peel for you.

    When the Botox is injected into the face it blocks the impulses to make your muscles relax. Botox will make your wrinkles go away leaving you with a younger look.

    Botox is an FDA approved treatment that is a cleaned protrein that is created from Clostridium botulinum bacterium. It prevents the nerves that are responsible for muscular movement.
